About the Event
Community Walks will provide people across Kilkenny, including those with additional support needs, with a welcoming, inclusive and accessible opportunity to get active, connect with others and enjoy the benefits of being outdoors. These 60-minute guided walking sessions will take place in a supportive social environment, encouraging participation, friendship and wellbeing.
Each walk will be carefully planned and adapted to suit a range of ages, abilities and fitness levels, ensuring everyone can take part at their own pace. With a strong focus on safety, gradual progression, confidence-building and enjoyment, Community Walks aim to help participants develop healthy habits, increase physical activity and feel empowered to move more in their everyday lives.
