SUMMARY:2024 KRSP Summer Camp Adult Volunteer Application
DESCRIPTION:Application form for Summer Camp Adult Volunteer with KRSP\nOur Inclusive Summer Camp programme caters for children who require additional support to engage in activities\, this may be because of a physical\, sensory or a learning disability. The inclusive summer camps gives children a chance to take part in a fun summer camp in a supported environment. We invite you to apply to become an adult volunteer on our summer programme. \nThe experience gained from volunteering on this summer camp may be of particular importance to those who may be training to be teachers\, SNA\, nursing or care staff. \nUnder the supervision of an Activity Leader\, the role of the Adult Volunteer will be to encourage enjoyment\, fun & plenty of smiles while providing assistance to children to ensure maximum engagement in activities. KRSP runs 4 separate Inclusive Summer Camps in the month of July. In the application\, please indicate the camps that you will be available for. PLEASE FEEL FREE TO VOLUNTEER FOR AS MANY CAMPS AS POSSIBLE – THE MORE VOLUNTEER TIME – THE MORE CHILDREN GET TO ENJOY THE CAMPS! \nIn return each volunteer will receive training\, be supported by KRSP staff and activity leaders\, and have a rewarding and fun experience while supporting children with additional needs to have a fun summer camp. Please note that adult volunteers will be subject to Garda Vetting.
