Meeting location will be at Ballykeefe Quarry.
Rock up and climb is a Rock Climbing programme that Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership will be running in partnership with Mountaineering Ireland.
This programme is suitable for beginners and is a 2 -3 hours introductory to rock climbing.
Please wear comfortable clothing – leggings, tracksuit bottoms, breathable T-Shirt and fleece & an extra warm layer. Be ready for the rain and pack a rain jacket . If weather is good please ensure that you’re wearing sun protection.
The course will be delivered by a qualified leader. The leader will guide you through a taster introduction to Rock Climbing on Friday 16th!
There is two sessions on the day, one for teens and one for adults. Please ensure you pick the right one!
Teen session will run from 10am. Adult session will start at 1:30pm.
