SUMMARY:2026 KRSP Inclusive Summer Camps
DESCRIPTION:Get ready for two fun-filled weeks of activity\, adventure\, and enjoyment at the KRSP Inclusive Summer Camp 2026\, taking place at Kilkenny Rugby Club\, Foulkstown\, Kilkenny\, R95 CH68\, from 10.00am to 12.30pm each day. Designed for children aged 6 to 17 years with additional needs who are attending school\, this camp offers a safe\, welcoming\, and supportive environment where children can get active\, build confidence\, try new activities\, and enjoy a brilliant camp experience with the support of KRSP staff\, coaches\, tutors\, and volunteers. \nActivities may include athletics\, gymnastics\, dance\, tennis\, cycling\, kayaking\, arts and crafts\, and orienteering/playground activities. All activities will be delivered in a gentle\, inclusive\, and enjoyable way\, with no pressure on any child to perform. \nThe camp will run over two separate weeks:Week 1: Monday 6th to Friday 10th JulyWeek 2: Monday 13th to Friday 17th July \nParents/guardians are asked to book one week only to help give as many children as possible the opportunity to attend. \nBEFORE COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION FORM FOR KRSP SUMMER CAMPS\, PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY\n\nAll children must be pre-registered online. No registrations will be accepted on the day and no cash payments will be taken.\nThe booking form must be completed in full. Please provide clear details about your child’s additional needs\, support requirements\, triggers\, communication needs\, likes\, dislikes\, or anything else that will help us support them well.\nChildren should bring their own drinks and snacks each day\, as these will not be provided.\nPlease ensure your child is dressed appropriately for the weather and activities each day. This may include sun cream\, a sun hat\, a raincoat\, and suitable clothing and footwear.\nPlease make sure that all bags\, clothing\, and personal items are clearly labelled.\nChildren will be signed in and signed out each day\, so we ask for patience while this is done carefully to ensure everyone’s safety.\nKRSP reserves the right to amend\, shorten\, or cancel sessions if necessary due to weather or other circumstances. Parents/guardians will be contacted by text message if needed.\nKRSP staff\, tutors\, coaches\, and volunteers are trained to provide a fun and supportive camp experience for children with additional needs. However\, they are not trained to provide intimate care. If your child requires intimate care support\, a parent/guardian or nominated support person must remain on site to provide this.\nKRSP staff\, tutors\, coaches\, and volunteers are also not permitted to administer medication. DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Watershed for the KRSP Supported Swim Camp 2026\, running daily from Monday 20th to Friday 24th July. Designed for children aged 8 to 16 years with additional needs who are attending school\, this camp offers a safe\, supportive\, and enjoyable environment where children can build confidence in the water\, develop their swimming skills\, and enjoy a positive camp experience with support from KRSP staff and the KRSP swim teacher. \nPlease ensure your child is booked into the correct level: \nSession Times\n10.00am to 10.45am – BeginnerNew to swimming and still building confidence in the water. Learner pool. \n11.00am to 11.45am – IntermediateSome swimming experience and making progress. Learner pool. \n12.00pm to 12.45pm – AdvancedConfident swimmer who is comfortable in the main pool and can swim independently. \nBEFORE COMPLETING THE REGISTRATION FORM FOR THE KRSP SWIM CAMP\, PLEASE READ ALL OF THIS INFORMATION CAREFULLY \n\nAll sections of the booking form must be completed in full. Answers such as None or N/A are not acceptable.\nAs this camp is for children with additional needs\, we require clear details on your child’s needs and any specific support requirements.\nPlease include any relevant information such as supports needed\, triggers\, likes\, dislikes\, or anything else that will help us support your child appropriately.\nChildren should arrive with their parent or guardian 5 minutes before their allocated swim time.\nChildren must not enter the water before their scheduled session time.\nChildren may only enter the water under the supervision of KRSP staff or swim teacher.\nParents\, guardians\, and KRSP volunteers should not bring children into the water.\nA parent or guardian must remain on site for the full duration of the session and collect their child promptly afterwards.\nPlaces are very limited.\n\nIf you have any further queries then call Brian on 086 838 3666 or email Brian@krsp.ie
