DESCRIPTION:Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership welcomes over 50s to take part in Go For Life Games. They will be played each Monday morning for 7 weeks at 9.30am in The Watershed\, Kilkenny \nPrepare for the national games and a day out in Dublin on June 8th. \n7 weeks from April 8th 15th and 22nd and 29th. SUMMARY:2024 KRSP Multisports for Adults - April
DESCRIPTION:KRSP are delivering a multi sports club for adults with disability in the Watershed\, Kilkenny on Fridays 11.30-12.30pm for 8 weeks. The programme will recommence on Friday April 12th and finish on Friday May 31st. \nActivities will be fun\, inclusive\, easy and everybody will be encouraged to take part either in a big group or small group. There will be a variety of activities on offer. We will also endeavour to get people from different groups mixing and having fun together. The environment will encourage taking part and will not be competitive. \nWe look forward to meeting you all on April 12th. Please bring your €15 on the first day if possible. Receipts will be issued.

DESCRIPTION:Come and walk with us on this tutor led programme each Friday morning at 10.00-11.00am. The programme is 8 weeks long from April 12th to May 31st – 8 weeks. \nParticipants must register and pay in advance. If you need help to do this call Seamus on 087 3567884 or email seamus@krsp.ie for a call back. We can get you registered in 5 minutes! \nMeet at the Coffee Shop in Kilkenny Castle Park each Friday morning for 10am start. We will be supplying Activator Walking Poles (similar to Nordic Poles) as these help us to stretch\, walk in a nice upright way and they’re also useful for balance and for doing some light exercises when we’re finished our walk. ALL levels and abilities are welcome to join in the programme and we look forward to seeing you there. Nobody will be left behind. Spring into step with us on this programme!

SUMMARY:2024 KRSP Supported Swim Lessons April/May
DESCRIPTION:Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership will deliver a programme of supported swimming lessons for children with disability. These will take place in the Watershed on Wednesdays from April 10th to May 22nd – a 7 week programme. \nEligible Children are those with a disability\, aged 6 upwards and attending school. Please register your child at the appropriate level (see list below). \nTimes: One group of 10 swimmers: 3.30 to 4.10 for improver/advanced IN THE LANE IN THE MAIN POOL \n3 groups of 6 swimmers IN THE LEARNER POOL from: \n3.30 to 4.10; \n4.10 to 4.50; \n4.50 to 5.30 in the learner pool \nWe are delighted that\, once again\, we have a fantastic group of Transition Year students to support the children on this programme for 2024. Our Swim Buddies have been fantastic support on our supported swim lessons. We are delighted that our two swim teachers Daphne and John will be teaching on the programme. \nPlease note: children should attend with their parent(s) / guardian 5 minutes before allotted swim time. Under no circumstance should any child enter the water unless under the supervision of KRSP staff or KRSP swim teacher. Parent(s) / guardian must remain on the facility premises for the duration of the lesson.

DESCRIPTION:Football For All Programme gives an opportunity to play football to people who may not ordinarily get a chance to play the ‘beautiful game’. Many agencies and groups recognise how football can contribute to the quality of life to all participants. \nA new 8-week session starts on Friday\, April 12th from 2-3pm. The programme will run for 8 weeks to May 31st. Thanks to a partnership between KRSP\, Healthy Kilkenny and Freebooters AFC\, this programme is run at a minimum cost to participants. The programme will take place at Freebooters fabulous astro turf venue at Gaol Road\, Kilkenny R95 TWY6. \nThere are two options for payment. You can pay online here with card (€15 for 8 weeks) or pay cash on the first day (receipted). Option to pay cash on first day of programme only. Must book in advance either way so that we have your emergency details etc. If paying cash first day\,use the FREE ticket option here. \nThe programme will have a coach leading activities each week and ALL ARE WELCOME.
