SUMMARY:2025 KRSP HerOutdoors - Teen Get Her Kayaking
DESCRIPTION:4 session kayaking and canoe skills course\, run in conjunction with Kilkenny Aqua Canoe Club members and instructors. \nSession dates are: Wed 6th August\, Wed 13th Aug\, Friday 15th Aug and Wednesday 20th of August from 6 to 7pm\, based at KACC premises on Canal Walk. \nParticipants will be introduced to a mix of paddle sports including Kayaking\, Canoeing and Stand Up Paddle(SUP) Boards and will get to experience short river trips\, learn about paddle fitness and will learn about water safety knowledge and skills as well as “Leave No Trace” principles. \nProgression to join KACC canoe club will be possible and encouraged!! \nThis programme is open to teenage girls from 13-18 years old.  \n• ALL participants MUST pre-register online. SUMMARY:2025 KRSP HerOutdoors - Teenage Adventure Programme
DESCRIPTION:HEROutdoors Week 2025 is running from 11th – 17th August. The aim of HEROutdoors Week is to get more women and girls active in the outdoors! \nKRSP is running a 4-week Outdoor Adventure Programme for teenage girls in Castlecomer Discovery Park starting Wednesday 6th of August \nWednesday August 6th\, 13th\, 20th & 27th. (6:30 – 8:30PM) \nThis is a fun filled programme where you are guaranteed to make new friends and be adventurous in the outdoors. \nThis is our fifth year running the programme and it was very successful last year with the girls trying their hand at axe throwing\, banner making\, zip-lining\, stand up paddle board and more! \nSo why not sign up this year and see what is it all about. DESCRIPTION:HerOutdoors is a week designated to encouraging women and girls to get active in the outdoors! This year we have a multiple programmes and courses available to get girls out and moving! HerOutdoors week is the 11th – 17th of August. \n  \nFor the first time we are happy to introduce our pop up session Stretch and Stroll taking place in Ferrybank. This programme will take place in Ferrybank Neighborhood Park. This 2 hour programme includes a session of yoga and then a walk in the local area\,  finishing our walk at the Frost & Co for a free tea/coffee! \n  \nSuitable for women 18+.
