SUMMARY:2024 KRSP Chair Based Pilates Callan April/May
DESCRIPTION:Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership will deliver a Pilates / gentle exercise programme specifically for older adults and people with additional needs who are living in the Callan area. We invite everybody to participate. The programme will run from April 8th to May 27th – 7 weeks total – (no class on May 6th) \nCome along\, enjoy the company and the Pilates and feel good afterwards. Please note that all participants MUST BE REGISTERED BEFOREHAND. You can pay fees with card online or alternatively pay €20 cash on the first morning only. If you need assistance in booking please contact seamus@krsp.ie or 087 3567884. \nPLEASE NOTE: participants with additional needs must attend with a carer who must remain with them throughout.

SUMMARY:2024 KRSP Stretch & Move April
DESCRIPTION:Come and walk with us on this tutor led programme each Friday morning at 10.00-11.00am. The programme is 8 weeks long from April 12th to May 31st – 8 weeks. \nParticipants must register and pay in advance. If you need help to do this call Seamus on 087 3567884 or email seamus@krsp.ie for a call back. We can get you registered in 5 minutes! \nMeet at the Coffee Shop in Kilkenny Castle Park each Friday morning for 10am start. We will be supplying Activator Walking Poles (similar to Nordic Poles) as these help us to stretch\, walk in a nice upright way and they’re also useful for balance and for doing some light exercises when we’re finished our walk. ALL levels and abilities are welcome to join in the programme and we look forward to seeing you there. Nobody will be left behind. Spring into step with us on this programme!

DESCRIPTION:Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership welcomes over 50s to take part in Go For Life Games. They will be played each Monday morning for 7 weeks at 9.30am in The Watershed\, Kilkenny \nPrepare for the national games and a day out in Dublin on June 8th. \n7 weeks from April 8th 15th and 22nd and 29th. May 13th\, 20th and 27th (7 weeks no games on May 6th – Bank Holiday). \nPre Booking on https://krsp.ie/krsp-events/ \nFor help with booking and more information call Seamus on 087 3567884 or email seamus@krsp.ie/     Please note: NO cash payment taken on the day. \nWhile you may not have heard of the games\, they are adapted and easy to play games. They’re great fun and are suitable for everyone. The games played are: Malaí  (an adaption of the game of Cornhole); Scidil (an adaption of Ten-Pin Bowling and Skittles); Flisk  (an adaption of Frisbee and Horseshoe Pitching).
