Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership will deliver a programme of supported swimming lessons for children with disability. These usually take place in the Watershed on Wednesdays.
Times: One group of 10 swimmers: 3.30 to 4.10 for improver/swimmers in the lane in the big pool. 3 groups of 6 swimmers from 3.30 to 4.10; 4.10 to 4.50; 4.50 to 5.30 in the learner pool
Volunteer Transition Year students buddy up with the young swimmers and assist the swim teachers to allow the children to become comfortable in the water.
