Kilkenny Recreation & Sports Partnership have successfully aided in the development of a number of Community Sports Hubs in Kilkenny. These include, the Skate Park in Kilkenny City, Ferrybank Community Park and a water sports home in Kilkenny City.
KRSP are currently in the process of developing the Urlingford/Johnstown Community Sports Hub. This will include physical activity initiatives to activate the local communities and increase physical activity. As part of the development of Urlingford/Johnstown Community Sports Hub.
Recent programmes that have been run in the area include Chair based pilates, Men on the Move, Ladies Circuit class, Intro to Weightlifting for TYs and much more! We have also supported Emeralds GAA, Fenians GAA, Urlingford Boxing Club, the Mill FRC and Clomantagh Squash club with equipment and capital supports!
